I started playing music when I was a teenager. First, I started out playing drums. Then, in my early twenties I picked up guitar and bass. I played in several heavy metal bands, but they never seemed to pan out. It was always a struggle to either get all the musicians to show up or to stop partying for a couple of hours.
I started FEARS MISSING in 2003 when I started playing on my own. I wanted to create an original sound and record my own music. I didn't even know if I could record a whole CD myself. I just took it one song at a time. It took awhile to figure out how I would go about doing something like this. Each song was recorded different. I would come up with the bass parts, guitar parts, or drum parts first. Then, play them to a click track on my recorder. I would then move onto the next instrument. I play the drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, and vocals. The music is raw and aggressive, with dark and eerie elements mixed together. My main influences are: Nine Inch Nails, Faith No More, Pantera, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Primus, White Zombie/Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Macabre, Metallica, and COC. Any thing that is metal, heavy metal, death metal, black metal or thrash metal. I am also into jazz, blues, and classical music.
I spend a lot of time online promoting my heavy metal music. My main goal with music is to let as many people listen to it as possible. I am also trying to make this site as big as it can be! I would like to get your feedback on some of the blog topics and what new bands and movies you like or dislike. Are you in a band? I would like you to post your bands information into the forum for some free and easy promotion. I would be happy if you would burn CD's, email these songs to your friends, and share them on file sharing site's such as LimeWire and Bearshare! When I was a teenager, I had a hard time getting money to buy CD's. The internet was just starting at that time. It was hard to find out about your favorite bands and even harder to get their music. Many stores didn't carry heavy metal music. Only the well known bands such as Metallica, Anthrax, Ozzy, and Iron Maiden. It was hard finding out about, new underground bands. Thanks to the internet. Fans can find out about new bands that are on the rise.
